Most Claude-vs-ChatGPT comparisons benchmark chat answers. Businesses don't buy chat answers — they buy agents doing real work, admin controls, and a compliance story. On those, the two platforms have genuinely diverged: Claude leads on deep agentic work and governance controls; ChatGPT leads on data residency and media generation.
