What we do with what you tell us.

We try to be honest about data the same way we try to be honest about everything else. This page covers what Mental Bound collects when you use mentalbound.com, why, and how to remove it.

Who runs this site

Mental Bound — a digital engineering company based in Athens, Greece. For any privacy question, write to info@mentalbound.com. We answer personally, usually within one working day.

What we collect

Only what you give us. We do not run third-party analytics, fingerprinting, or advertising trackers on this site.

Contact form. Name, email, and the message body. Optionally: company, role, project stage, budget, and timeline if you choose to share them.
Project planner. Your answers to the planner steps plus name, email, and (optionally) company and phone number.
Voice / chat assistant. The transcript of your conversation while it is active. If you ask the assistant to fill the contact or planner form, the same fields above are sent.
Server logs. Standard request logs (IP, user agent, path, timestamp) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging. Not joined to anything else.

Why we collect it

To reply to you. The contact form and planner exist so we can answer.
To deliver work. If we move into a project together, we keep what you sent so we can scope and follow up.
To improve the site. Server logs help us catch errors and abuse.

Where the data goes

We use a small number of vetted processors. None of them sell your data.

Resend delivers contact and planner emails to our inbox.
Vercel hosts the site and stores request logs.
OpenAI powers the voice assistant's speech-to-text and text-to-speech when you use it.
Anthropic powers the assistant's responses and the project planner's analysis.

Data sent to these providers is processed under their data-processing agreements. They do not retain your conversation content for model training in the configurations we use.

How long we keep it

Form submissions stay in our inbox until they are no longer useful — usually one to three years for active leads, then deleted. Server logs roll off after 30 days. Voice and chat transcripts are not stored on our servers; they live in your browser session and are gone when you close the tab.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request to info@mentalbound.com; we respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Cookies

We set one functional cookie for theme (light/dark) and one for language preference. No tracking cookies, no consent banner needed.

Changes to this page

If we change anything material here we update the date at the top. Substantive changes will be flagged on the home page for at least two weeks.
